Coming off of a Kingdom Hearts induced high I re-watched Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" which is such a phenominally great film. I always connected with the character of "the beast". After watching it I just had to draw him. I really put a lot of time in the shading here. There are four, count them FOUR, different levels of shadow in that pic, which is pretty special considering a typically only do two. There's a base-color, light, shadow, and dark shadow.

How do you do your lineart? And what program do you use for shading?

The lineart is done with a simple pen. And I color in photoshop.

Wow. That is one of the coolest drawings of the Beast I have EVER seen!! The only critique I'd make is he looks a little thinner than usual. But man, that is good! The cape in particular.

Ah, very nice. I was drawn to this one's movment and him standing out so much fromt eh background. I'm really likeing his cloak and it's shape and shading. He himself is done great too, but there are some things that are slightly bugging me though, like his legs, horns and some spots on his face like his nose. His lower legs and feet just look like they're in positions that they shouldn't be able to bend that way in, his nose just looks a little squished in when it should be a little further out and pronounced, and the horns just look a little off in some way that I can't quite put my thumb on. :p But overall it is very well done, better then I could do as far as coloring and using photoshop. =p
Great job, Kingdom Hearts is LURV! :clap: Though I've only just finished gathering coconuts and wood for the raft, and I've had the game for 2 years now. :rofl: My older sister beat it so I got to see the end at least. :XD:
